History:18th November 1811. The ship building at Well's Yard for Robert Wigram the 950 ton 'Lady Jane Dundas' to be ready in January 1812. (Latter launched as ‘Marchioness of Ely’)
Her 1st Commander was Brook Kay.
Sir Robert Wigram held 3/16 shares from March 1812 to August 1816, then turned them over to Octavius Wigram.

8th June 1814. Sailed from London for St. Helena and Bengal.
